Adele and Beyonce on a song together would be one powerful force not to mess with and according to Adele, she would love to sing with Beyonce!
The singer told French radio station, NRJ:
“I adore Beyonce, I’ve been listening to her since I was about 11. I think her work as an artist and a singer is enviable in terms of the length of her career and how she’s grown and grown, but most of my inspirations are [from] old music and sadly they have all died.”
The two were reportedly supposed to perform together at the 2011 Glastonbury Festival, but Adele’s vocal issues forced her to cancel.
Besides wanting to work with Beyonce, Adele has started to open up more about her next album. In recent interviews she joked it could take years for her to release a new album, but now she is saying it will take “a good two years.” She continued saying:
“If I didn’t write my own songs, I’d be out next week with a new album. I have to take time and live a little bit. There were a good two years between my first and second albums, so it’ll be the same this time.”
But don’t worry — it looks like we will be getting a new single from Adele by the end of the year, one in which BBC predicts will be the theme song for the next James Bond film.
As disappointing as it is that there won’t be a new Adele album for two years, we all know how amazing her life experiences made her last two albums and we wouldn’t want her to rush an album that wasn’t as amazing as her last two!
