On the latest episode of the Glee Project, Glee’s Cory Monteith was the guest mentor.
Glee Project is a competition show which looks for a new cast mate for the next season of Glee. When Monteith visited the show he was nothing more than supportive and helpful to the contestants. This weel’s theme was ‘vulnerability’ and before the contestants got to work on their homework assignment Monteith put his two sense in, saying:
“You have to tap into what makes you feel uncomfortable as a person, so you can bring it to the role. If it’s real for you it’s real for the audience.”
After the homework assignment, which was to sing Kelly Clarkson’s “My Life Would Suck Without You,” Monteith chose Nellie as the winner. This won her a one-on-one with Monteith where he gave her some more helpful advice. He told her he draws from personal experiences when he has to shoot emotional scenes for the show. He helped Nellie dig deep into her emotions, something she admitted to having a hard time doing.
Cory seems like a great mentor!
