Justin Timberlake certainly is showing everyone how to “Take Back The Night” in his new music video for that very song!
In the video for the lead single off Timberlake’s upcoming The 20/20 Experience Part 2, he has touring the New York City area, dancing on the streets of Chinatown and surrounding neighborhood areas. He dances on the street with some people just strolling by and he also shows his moves in the club. These clips go back and forth with some live footage of Timberlake performing the song at Yankee Stadium just a few weeks ago on the Legends of the Summer tour with Jay Z.
“Take Back The Night” caused some controversy when it was first released. The song title shares the same name as a 40-year-old international support group for victims of sexual violence. Timberlake was unaware of the coincidence and released a statement saying that he hopes “this coincidence will bring more awareness to this cause.”
Timberlake is currently still on tour with Jay Z and will begin The 20/20 Experience World Tour in October. The 20/20 Experience Part 2 will be released on September 30.

Justin Timberlake fans are definitely excited about his latest announcement! Timberlake has already confirmed that there will be a part two to his 20/20 Experience album and on Sunday he revealed the release date for it!
Timberlake took to Twitter today to reveal a picture of himself in the studio with a handwritten caption on the mixing board which reads, “The 20/20 Experience (2 of 2) Sept. 30.”
The first 20/20 Experience album was released in March, so this means two Timberlake albums in the same year! The first album sold 968,000 copies in its first week and has since remained in the top three on the Billboard 200 chart.
Producer Jerome “J-Roc” Harmon worked on the first 20/20 Experience with Timberlake and previously told Billboard that the second album would include unreleased material from the first 20/20 album with brand new studio sessions.
Timberlake fans — mark September 30 on your calendars!
The rumors flew for a day or two, but Justin Timberlake now confirms that a sequel to The 20/20 Experience is true!
During Timberlake’s release party for The 20/20 Experience last night at Los Angeles’ El Rey Theatre, the singer confirmed that a second half of the album will be coming. He did not go as far as to reveal a release date.
Rumors flew about a 20/20 Experience Part 2 ever since The Roots drummer Questlove revealed on his new website Sunday night that Timberlake was releasing another 10 song album in November. He said:
“spoiler alert. 20/20 Vol 2 comes out in nov. (10 songs now….. 10 songs later= 20 vision).”
The 20/20 Experience was made available to stream on iTunes March 11 and was officially released today, Tuesday, March 19. Billboard expects the album to sell more than a half million copies in its first week.
Justin Timberlake’s The 20/20 Experience hits shelves on Tuesday, but according to Questlove, the follow-up to that album will be released in November!
Yesterday morning Questlove, who opened Timberlake’s SXSW set, posted in an Okayplayer.com forum:
“spoiler alert. 20/20 Vol 2 comes out in nov. (10 songs now….. 10 songs later= 20 vision)”
This seems to make sense, considering the album is titled The 20/20 Experience and the album, out Tuesday, does contain 10 songs on the track list that was released.
Questlove is the perfect person to have insider info considering he spent a lot of time with the singer recently. He DJed Timberlake’s first official concert in five years in New Orleans on February 2, as well as the SXSW performance on Saturday night. He also spent all of last week alongside Timberlake on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, where his band The Roots serves as the house band.
There has been no comment from Timberlake or RCA on the follow-up to The 20/20 Experience.
